BTD Plumbing & Heating was founded by Ben Davis in 2007 and has grown steadily on the back of word-of-mouth from Broad Town, Royal Wootton Bassett, Marlborough, Swindon, Calne and the surrounding villages.
The specialism is oil-fired heating; the workhorse of off-grid Wiltshire, paired with full gas qualification for the mains-gas homes in and around town. Add underfloor heating, power flushing, water softeners and everyday plumbing and you have one engineer who can look after the whole property.
Ben is also an elected Broad Town Parish Councillor, actively serving the community he lives and works in. It's the same accountability you get on the tools: local, visible, answerable to neighbours.

One engineer, one standard. Whether it's a £115 service or a full oil-boiler swap, the approach is identical: quote it honestly, do it properly, leave the site cleaner than you found it.
Every gas job is notified via Gas Safe; every oil installation is registered with OFTEC and building control on your behalf. Certificates are issued for your records, never verbally shrugged off.
We use OEM parts where the manufacturer specifies them, protect flooring and skirting, and clean up before we leave. Shortcut fixes cost you twice; we don't do them.
You get a written quote before work starts. No 'call-out plus hourly' surprises, no vague estimates. If a job grows, we stop and talk before anything gets bigger.
Installations are commissioned to the manufacturer's spec so the boiler's own warranty stands. We stand behind the workmanship, no argument, no runaround.
